All she's doing, IMHO, is calling attention to herself. In no way is she trying to prove that porn stars are smart too. Otherwise, why not have a straight-forward campaign without the lap dances and cleavage shots? Yes, we've seen mainstream entertainers make it in politics (Reagan, Arnie) but a porn star??? This country is much to religious for that, war time or not.

When you get the chance, please watch the CNN coverage of her campaign speech in San Diego State University. She said, "I lobby for it (pornography) to show people in Sacramento that there are girls with feelings and brains behind the industry. Not every girl is just a blonde haired big boobed bimbo..."

In my opinion, she has no intention nor the slightest hope to become governor. She, or the person behind her, is definately very intelligent. She is making a good profit out of the electoral system, getting publicity almost for free. She is going to be on air very often without paying a cent.

Watch the sales of her movies and merchandise increase from now on, as well as her earnings per apparition and movie.

Smart porn girl indeed.

Although she's getting plenty of publicity, please believe none of it is for free. She may get campaign donations or something, but someone is paying for advertising. Either that, or she's going to have to "return some favors!"

Not getting it for free? What the hell do you call this conversation we're having right now? Don't you think thousands of other people are talking about her in the same way? I'd call it free publicity - that is, unless you were paid to post here...

Cast your mental net just a bit wider, and you'll see my point. While this conversation cost her nothing, we'd never be having it if someone wasn't shelling out the bucks to put her out there. Trust me, I would love compensation, but she can Save The Lap Dance for you.

You're talking about two different things. If someone is sponsoring her campaign (and I agree with you that someone probably is) that money goes to advertising, legal fees, etc. Free publicity refers to conversations like this, news stories, etc. Learn the difference between advertising and publicity before making yourself sound more ignorant.

I know the difference between advertising and publicity quite well. Try to follow me this time: would there be any publicity at all if not for not for the money already spent? One took care of the other. Lets talk about free in its truest sense. She didn't just throw her bra into the ring, wait for media to find out and cover it. There would be no "conversations like this, news stories, etc" without it. Wanna attempt to teach me something else?
